To get the best results when soda blasting, the air you use needs to be completely dry. Any moisture in the compressed air will be absorbed by the soda causing it to cake, clump and jam your equipment. This results in down time and If you are hooking up a patented Buster Blaster soda blasting pot to your current air compressor you will need to dry the air before it gets to the soda blaster. Since hot air holds more moisture you need to cool the air before the water can be removed.
The air cooling/drying package manufactured by The Soda Works is just the thing you need. These are the same components that are integrated into the Buster Blaster 100 mobile unit. They were designed and built to work with the BB-100 and we know they do!
The BB100CD package pictured above includes:
Twin 185 cfm (370 cfm total) air coolers with 12-volt switched and fused fans mounted on a free standing powder-coated frame.
500 cfm WSW–500 high efficiency centrifugal moisture separator.
1 - 15' connector hose.
2 – 10' connector hoses.
This package has a maximum nozzle flow capacity of 210 cfm (#5 or 5/16" nozzle at 150 psi) and is generally required when purchasing the Buster Blaster 100 soda blast pot (without compressor) and when you are using a #5 nozzle and supplying an appropriately sized air compressor.
We now offer two smaller air cooling/drying packages:
BB100ECD - Economy BB100 Single Air Cooler/Dryer Pack: includes single 185 cfm air cooler with 12 volt switched fan, 500 cfm high efficiency centrifugal moisture separator and two interconnect hoses. Maximum nozzle air flow capacity of 100 cfm or #4 (1/4") nozzle.
BB25CD - BB25 Single Air Cooler/Dryer unit: includes single 185 cfm air cooler with 12 volt switched fan, high efficiency centrifugal moisture separator and two interconnect hoses. Maximum nozzle air flow capacity of 60 cfm or #3 (3/16") nozzle.
